About the Role

We're looking for finance lecturers and economists to help shape how AI understands financial and economic reasoning. Your expertise will directly influence the quality of AI systems used by millions — ensuring they reason accurately about markets, valuation, risk, and corporate finance.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed to fit around your existing schedule. Whether you're an active academic, an industry professional, or both, your knowledge can make a measurable difference in how the next generation of AI thinks about finance.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate finance-related questions, explanations, and reasoning used in AI training datasets
• Assess the accuracy of financial concepts including valuation, risk analysis, capital markets, and economic theory
• Identify misconceptions, logical gaps, or misleading explanations in AI-generated financial content
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the depth and accuracy of financial reasoning
• Apply your teaching experience to flag the kinds of errors that trip up learners — and AI systems alike
• Work independently and asynchronously to complete task-based assignments on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience teaching finance or economics at the postsecondary level
• Strong command of corporate finance, financial markets, or financial economics
• Able to critically evaluate written financial reasoning and explain why something is right or wrong
• Comfortable working through structured content at scale with attention to detail
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own time effectively

Nice to Have

• Graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Industry or applied finance experience (investment banking, asset management, financial analysis, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation, annotation workflows, or EdTech content development
