○ Oversee the quality and integrity of clinical services provided by assigned

clinicians.

○ Review and approve assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge

summaries.

○ Ensure therapeutic interventions align with evidence-based practices and scope of

licensure.

○ Provide structured individual and/or group supervision to licensed and associate-

level clinicians.

○ Evaluate clinical competencies and support professional skill development.

○ Offer constructive, strengths-based feedback to enhance clinical reasoning and

therapeutic effectiveness.

○ Audit clinical documentation for accuracy, medical necessity, and timeliness.

○ Ensure compliance with state licensing board regulations, agency policies, and

funding requirements.

○ Facilitate case reviews and clinical staffing meetings.

○ Provide guidance on complex cases, risk assessments, and treatment

modifications.

Ensure treatment goals are measurable, individualized, and clinically appropriate.

○ Ensure appropriate safety planning, documentation, and follow-up procedures.

○ Guide clinicians in managing high-risk behaviors and mandated reporting

responsibilities.

○ Promote coordinated care among providers, case managers, medical

professionals, and community partners

○ Identify trends in clinical service delivery and recommend improvements.

○ Participate in program evaluations and performance improvement initiatives.

○ Ensure supervisees practice within scope and maintain appropriate boundaries.

○ Address ethical concerns promptly and document supervisory guidance.

● Travel Requirements: Depending on the position, travel within the community may be

required.

Qualifications:

● Education:

Master’s degree in social work, Nursing, Psychology, or a related field.

● Experience:

○ LPC

● Skills:

○ Advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and case conceptualization

○ Expertise in evidence-based treatment interventions

○ Competency-based clinical supervision and staff development

Performance evaluation and constructive feedback delivery

Knowledge of LPC regulations, ethical standards, and scope of practice

○ Documentation auditing and compliance oversight skills

Crisis assessment, risk management, and safety planning expertise

Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership abilities

○ Strategic program evaluation and quality-improvement insight

○ Professional communication, organization, and ethical integrity

● Work Environment: LPC may work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics,

social service agencies, or community organizations. Some may also work in clients

homes or in field settings.
