Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Hematology Oncology

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and consultations Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care Educate patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment options Conduct research and stay current with advancements in hematology oncology Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and case discussions Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred Strong knowledge of hematological and oncological disorders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment High level of professionalism and ethical standards Active medical license in the state of practice Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:40p Setting: Primarily outpatient, some inpatient consults Patient Census: 10-12 per day in clinic, Patient Population: Adults Case Mix: 60% medical oncology, 40% hematology oncology Support Staff: APPs EMR: Meditech Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
