Belmont Park is a major thoroughbred horse racing facility located in Queens, NY. Originally built in 1805, Belmont Park is operated by New York Racing Association alongside several partners including Levy. Attracting thousands of guests every season, Belmont Park will host world class events such as the 2027 Belmont Stakes and the 2027 Breeders Cup.

Job Summary

Barbacks work directly with bartenders to keep the bar stocked, organized, and ready for service in a fast-paced environment. You'll restock glassware, ice, garnishes and supplies, assist with basic prep work, help maintain cleanliness behind the bar, and support bartenders during busy shifts so drinks are made efficiently and to standard.

This role also includes monitoring inventory levels, receiving and storing deliveries, keeping bar stations tidy, and following safety and sanitation practices.

Successful barbacks are reliable, quick learners with strong stamina, good communication skills, attention to detail, and open availability. This position is a great stepping stone to a bartender role.
