You'll work alongside one other special educator, sharing a caseload of 20 students in a self-contained setting. Desired Qualifications:

• Current Educator Certification in Special Education
• Previous experience in self-contained classrooms, particularly with elementary-aged children (K–5th grade)
• Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload, including some students with toileting needs
• Strong collaboration skills and openness to working closely with other SPED staff
• Flexibility, professionalism, and a proactive approach to challenges
• Compliance with all required background checks and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to a small caseload of elementary students with varying needs
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual learning and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
• Provide support with daily living skills and toileting as needed
• Maintain accurate records and participate in staff meetings and professional development
• Help shape and strengthen the school’s SPED program after a period of growth and transition
