Direct Support Professional II Pay: $20.50-$24.50 per awake hour (see below for range details); $17.50 per asleep hour. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day services to program participants, including bathing, toileting, teeth brushing, and other personal care. Assist or teach individuals with household maintenance, meal preparation, and shopping, promoting increasing independence. Accompany individuals to appointments as needed. Administer medications or support self‑medication in accordance with residential guidelines. Follow routines including behavior support plans, personal care, physical therapy, and other program protocols. Demonstrate commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in community and personal life. Show varied interests and personal connections within the local community. Maintain a record of responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history). Work as a creative, engaged, dedicated team member. Support Advocate Training Paid new employee orientation and training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP). Additional program‑specific training provided onsite. Qualifications Age 18 or older. High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required. 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
