Job Summary:

Assist in reprocessing and sterilizing surgical instruments to ensure safety and compliance. Support operational efficiency within the medical equipment department, adhering to industry standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Reprocess surgical instruments according to established sterilization protocols.

  Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of medical equipment and tools.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper handling and usage of equipment.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures at all times.
  
  
• 
  Document reprocessing activities and compliance records accurately.
  
  
• 
  Support team efforts during major and minor holidays as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical instrument reprocessing or a related field.
  
  
• 
  Working knowledge of sterilization techniques and medical equipment handling.
  
  
• 
  Certification in Healthcare Sterile Processing (preferred).
  
  
• 
  Ability to follow detailed protocols and safety guidelines consistently.

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  Effective communication skills with clinical and support staff.
