Data Manager for Operating Costs & Insights

Frankfurt | Full-time | Permanent Responsibilities and Qualifications Primary responsibility for the collection, maintenance, quality assurance, and further development of master data relevant to operating costs, as well as ensuring a consistent and reliable data foundation for operating cost accounting, reporting, analysis, and controlling. Development and implementation of standards, structures, and models for the systematic collection and maintenance of data relevant to operating costs. Creation, analysis, and refinement of evaluations, reports, ad hoc analyses, and an operating cost benchmark in close collaboration with the Controlling department and external service providers. Compilation, validation, and analysis of data relevant to operating costs for sustainability reporting, energy management, and carbon footprint calculations. Assistance with preparing heating and utility bills, as well as calculating advance payments for utilities. Reviewing, processing, and posting incoming invoices related to operating expenses, as well as assisting with invoice processing, payment processing, and utility cost accounting. Participation in cross‑functional projects and the further development of processes, systems, and standards in operational cost management. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, real estate management, or business informatics, or a degree in real estate management, ideally supplemented by additional training in data management. Experience working with ERP systems and preparing heating and operating cost statements. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as good knowledge of SAP. Relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or controlling; knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus. Excellent analytical skills and a strong aptitude for numbers, combined with a reliable, self‑motivated, and goal‑oriented approach to work. Ability to model, analyze, and further develop complex issues. Strong teamwork skills, dedication, and a collaborative and communicative approach to work. High level of resilience, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
