Maintenance Technician

This is a great opportunity for experienced maintenance technicians looking to work on 3rd shift. Applicants must be able to pass a maintenance exam.

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for Paper and Pulp, and we are looking for experienced technicians on a fulltime basis.

Position details:

Weekend and holiday work (as needed)
Fulltime employment (M-F 11pm-7am)
Competitive salary and benefits, 401k, profit-sharing plan, onsite fitness center and on-the-job training.

Duties:

Work within a manufacturing environment servicing manufacturing equipment such as boilers, air compressors, and electric lift trucks.

Qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of workplace safety protocols
Experience with different areas of maintenance including welding, electrical, hydraulics, steam, pneumatics, and machining
Knowledge of PLC computer programming, robotics and related electronics considered an asset
High school diploma/GED required
Candidate must have their own tools
