Volunteer Judge - Florida BPA State Leadership Conference
Florida Business Professionals of America, Inc.
Serve as a volunteer judge at the Florida Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference, where more than 600 middle school, high school, and college students from across Florida compete in business-related events.
Judges play a key role in evaluating presentations, résumés, interviews, entrepreneurship pitches, financial analyses, marketing campaigns, technology solutions, and more.
No prior BPA experience required — training is provided.
This is an impactful way to help Florida students build confidence, gain professional feedback, and prepare for future careers.
Responsibilities
- Review student presentations or written materials
- Score using provided rubrics
- Provide constructive, encouraging feedback
- Attend a brief judge orientation (virtual or onsite)
- Maintain professionalism and fairness
Who We’re Looking For
- A business professional, educator, community leader, or college student
- Someone who enjoys mentoring youth
- Comfortable evaluating presentations or reviewing work
- Looking for a meaningful, skill-aligned volunteer experience
