With a focused caseload at a single school, you’ll be the lead SLP, providing expertise and continuity of care.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active Florida SLP licensure required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not necessary
• Comfortable working independently as the sole SLP on campus
• Familiarity with Pre-K through 8th-grade student populations
• Ability to complete all district credentialing requirements, including fingerprints (may leverage existing ACHA Clearinghouse records)

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to students in grades PK-8 in a resource therapy setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each student
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide expert consultation and guidance on speech-language matters for staff as needed

This contract role consists of 14 hours per week (two 7-hour days) on-site, offering a manageable schedule and a meaningful chance to connect with your students.
