At Omega Health Services , we help individuals with disabilities and veterans overcome barriers to employment and achieve greater independence through meaningful work.

We’re looking for an  energetic, compassionate, and self-motivated Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Charles Town team . This is a field-based role where you’ll work directly with individuals, employers, and community partners to help people succeed on the job.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on job coaching during onboarding, training, and workplace activities.
• Support individuals in developing workplace skills and achieving employment goals.
• Identify and support appropriate workplace accommodations and assistive technology .
• Build positive relationships between individuals, coworkers, supervisors, and employers.
• Help develop natural workplace supports that encourage independence.
• Maintain accurate digital documentation and track employment milestones.
• Coordinate community and employment-related transportation when needed.
• Collaborate with Case Managers and other members of the support team.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, organized, and passionate about helping others succeed.

Required:

• A relevant work or life experience
  supporting individuals with disabilities .
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current insurance.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings.

Experience in the following is a plus:

• Vocational rehabilitation
• Employment services or job coaching
• Workforce development
• Human or disability services
• Case management
• Working with veterans or individuals with disabilities
• Experience in education, tutoring, vocational rehabilitation, disability services, employment services, or working with veterans is a plus.
