Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.
• Assist in the inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
• Collaborate with the care staff to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Participate in special events and themed meals to enhance resident engagement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook in a healthcare or residential setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary requirements.
• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for serving others.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed in the kitchen.
