Karen/S'gaw Interpreters - Adams County, Colorado

We are currently seeking individuals who speak both Karen/S'gaw and English fluently. The opportunity we currently have available allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. If you meet the requirements below and are looking for flexibility in your work hours and the ability to make a positive impact to the community in which you live and serve. *This is for In Person Interpreting Assignments* Requirements: Have informal or professional interpretation experience Are fluent in both Karen/S'gaw andEnglish Preferred - experience supporting Child Protection and Adult Protection Services It is preferred to have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one yearof related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience). Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, Experience in the healthcare industry experience ispreferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.).
