See the Goldfish Experience in action: Primary Responsibilities: Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe aquatic environment Evaluates students' progress and completes documentation accurately and promptly Engages with parents/guardians after each lesson to discuss swimmer development Identifies and addresses student challenges using problem-solving and creativity Assists with pool setup and cleanup, including storing equipment properly Participates in required workshops and in-service training Job Requirements and Skills: Aquatics experience required (e.g., lifeguarding, swim team, swim instruction, water safety, competitive swimming, or similar) Weekend availability required Experience as a certified lifeguard, swim instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is a plus strong ability to work with children in an energetic, supportive, and safety-focused environment Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Must pass background checks (provided as part of training) High School Diploma/GED required; Some college preferred Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications encouraged (training provided and rewarded with pay increases) Must complete certification courses within 3 months of employment Benefits: Paid training provided Opportunities for advancement and leadership roles Flexible scheduling - even one shift (4 hours) a week is welcome!
