Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Recon Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Mount and balance tires
The Ideal Candidate Must Have The Following:
- Great mechanical skills
- Must be team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Previous automotive technician experience on many different brands
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
- Valid U.S. Drivers License with a Good Driving Record
