This role ensures timely and accurate purchasing of materials to meet production schedules and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Issue purchase orders to approved vendors once engineering designs are finalized.Establish and communicate vendor order due dates based on production timelines.Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of components.Collaborate with engineering, production, and planning teams to align material availability with build schedules.Maintain accurate purchasing records and update ERP systems as required.Identify and resolve supply issues proactively to minimize production delays.Qualifications & Requirements:Required:Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering)3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or planning role within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of lead times, material planning, and vendor management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Preferred:Any of the following - CPP / CPSM / CPIM / CSCP/ Lean Six SigmaKey Competencies:Strong leadership and communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently take initiativeAnalytical mindset; attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively across departmentsStrong organizational and project management abilitiesAutonomous mindsetBenefits:Medical, vision, and dental plansShort-term and long-term disability insuranceGroup term life insurance coverageHSA, FSA, and Dependent Care plans available8 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays, and generous PTO policy401k matchingCompany paid eventsAnnual safety shoe allowanceEducation assistance programEEO Statement:MAS HVAC is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
