Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Endoscopy experience Description: Unit Information: The unit has 3 endoscopy suites. Staffing comprises 2 to 4 staff members per suite. All shifts are day shifts with call coverage. Patient ratios during night shift are 1:1. Type of equipment used includes endoscopy and bronchoscopy tools. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech and Provation. Typical procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, PillCam, SmartPill, Bravo, manometry, and endoFLIP. Bronchoscopy and Super D navigated bronchoscopy are also common. The ideal candidate would be fast-moving and a team player. General Comments: The facility offers a variety of services to meet community needs, including emergency and neurological care, as well as cardiovascular care and robotic surgery. Staff members report a family-like atmosphere, emphasis on teamwork, and supportive management.
