Job Summary
Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and reliable Caregiver to join our team! We provide in-home care and support to seniors and veterans , helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. We service Denton and Collin County; you are not required to work both counties. 

In this role, you will assist clients with personal care, daily living activities, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and other tasks that promote a safe and comfortable living environment.

Current available hours: 4-12 hours Days, overnights, and an on-call opportunity. Additional hours may be available based on client needs and scheduling availability; it's always changing!

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises as directed
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping
• Assist with medication reminders only
• Assist with errands and shopping
• Communicate changes or concerns regarding the client's condition to the appropriate office staff
• Follow all client care plans and company policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, or similar role is preferred, but not required
• Clean background
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable vehicle
• Current auto insurance
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to safely assist with mobility and physical tasks, and transfers
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical, and dependable
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
