Worship Leader - Riverside

Overview Job Title: Worship Leader Ministry/Department: Worship Reports to: Worship Gatherings Director Status: Full-time, exempt Supervisory Role: No The Church of Eleven22 is seeking a Worship Leader to partner with the Worship Director in supporting all aspects of the worship ministry at Eleven22. This is a full-time role with expectations for campus worship leadership and collaboration with the campus pastor and staff. Responsibilities Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through ongoing spiritual disciplines (Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship). Serve as principal worship leader for an Eleven22 campus. Recruit, train and maintain worship teams. Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in Eleven22 campus services. Maintain Planning Center, update charts, MP3s, lyrics, recordings, scheduling of musicians, etc., for Eleven22 campus services. Assist in overseeing the campus worship ministry budget, organization and serve staff. Lead worship for special events on an as-needed basis. Assist the campus pastor in creating a healthy Eleven22 environment. Be available for campus pastoral ministry and other ministry opportunities as needed. Set annual goals for the worship ministry in line with the church vision and evaluate progress. Attend all staff meetings and functions. Other duties as needed. Ability to learn and utilize new computer software. Education and Experience Strong theological knowledge and ability to deliver gospel truths within worship services. Instrumentation: strong vocal, musicianship and stage presence. Skilled in organization, administration and interpersonal relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Ableton Live and Planning Center Online programs. Demonstrated excellence as a worship leader with 2+ years of experience growing a worship ministry. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time (40 hrs/week), exempt position reporting to the Worship Director. Days and hours of work include services on Monday, Thursday and Sunday; typically Monday through Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm. The church has several large events throughout the year that staff attendance is required for as aligned with the current year’s vision. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and may involve standard office equipment use (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.). Physical Demands The role may require lifting equipment and standing or bending as necessary.
