Systems Engineer

As a systems engineer for NorthStar, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing assured PNT solutions for warfighters operating in GPS-denied environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills or Experiences:

• Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation including design plans, installation plans, test procedures, and engineering drawings in accordance with program standards
• Coordinate with government customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project milestones and technical objectives are met
• Conduct engineering analysis of system designs and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks
• Support engineering review boards, design reviews (PDR, CDR, ERB, MCB), and technical briefings

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $100,219.00 - USD $111,180.00 /Yr.
