Benefits Specialist – OneDigital OneDigital is looking for a Benefits Specialist to manage client benefits programs, ensuring compliance and accuracy for our clients' employees. Must be eligible to work in the United States, without need for visa or residency sponsorship, and reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones. Key Responsibilities Assist with specifications, development, testing and implementation of new plan designs for renewal or clients adding on new plans (setting up benefit plans with multiple tiered pricing structures). Prepare reports, policies and procedures related to benefits administration and service. Support the benefits team and client account managers, payroll and sales as needed; coordinate compliance and systems for clients. Maintain data integrity and system functionality of all benefits information to ensure accurate enrollment data in the record system. Optimize performance of benefits admin system, including gathering and analyzing data, developing and implementing new processes, documenting processes, and making recommendations for improvement. Perform benefits analysis, validations and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to established procedures. Resolve client inquiries and provide relevant internal and external information. Organize and prioritize work to ensure timely, efficient, and economic delivery of services, including delivery or coordination of compliance and administrative solutions. Manage open cases for problem resolution, keeping clients informed of status and resolution date; document customer interactions in the CRM system. Escalate inquiries and ensure effective resolution. Initiate professional development actions, take on stretch assignments, and stay advised of statutory and regulatory payroll and compliance practices; provide ACA configuration and support (1095’s). Design and implement workflows supporting routine benefits tasks. Key Measurables Case management: close cases in 3‑5 days or less, target 75%. Service efficiency and improvements. Utilize the data processing team for >80% of repetitive tasks. Update plans in Prism system; target 99% accuracy for benefits elections and rates after open enrollment. Complete quarterly goals. Qualifications & Experience Must have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or 2+ years of experience in benefits services. Experience with Prism HR to build benefit forms, workflows and validate enrollment processes is strongly preferred. Experience with any HRIS incorporating benefits administration substitutes for direct Prism experience. Strong knowledge of benefits administration and compliance. Excellent organization, detail orientation and time‑management. Preferred Skills Previous payroll experience. Highly organized and detail oriented. Passion for working in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Critical thinking, problem solving and time management. Knowledge of Prism HR platform and building benefit forms, workflows and validating enrollment processes. Benefits & Compensation Salary: $65,000–$75,000 DOE. Eligible employees receive health, wellbeing, retirement and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non‑exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. Additional variable compensation, commission or annual bonus may be available depending on performance.
