All approved travel expenses associated with overnight business trips are covered by SQ.About the RoleStratosphere Quality (SQ) is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee quality assurance operations across Missouri and Kansas, with occasional support for customer projects in Oklahoma and Nebraska.SQ provides third-party quality services to manufacturers, including inspection, sorting and containment. As Project Manager, you'll oversee customer projects, support Project Supervisors and ensure our teams meet quality, staffing and performance expectations.This is a field-based, customer-facing position, not a remote job. Administrative work and planning are completed from your home office, but you'll spend time at customer facilities reviewing operations, working with customers and supporting your team. The Kansas City area will be your primary base, with travel to other sites as business needs require. Overnight travel expenses approved under company policy are covered by SQ.Manufacturing operations don't always follow a standard schedule. You'll need to be available to support your team and respond to customer needs during off-shift hours, evenings and weekends when required.ResponsibilitiesOversee quality assurance projects across the assigned region, ensuring customer requirements and SQ procedures are met.Coach and develop Project Supervisors to improve team performance and day-to-day site management.Visit customer facilities to review operations, address concerns and maintain strong working relationships.Coordinate new project launches, including staffing, equipment, site setup and material handling.Monitor project quality, productivity, labor costs and profit margins.Review financial results and understand how staffing, overtime and travel costs affect project profitability.Work with the Sales team to meet customer commitments and identify opportunities to expand SQ's services within existing customer facilities.Address customer concerns, staffing challenges and operational issues, including those that arise outside regular business hours.Adjust staffing and resources as customer requirements change.RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.At least five years of direct manufacturing experience in a quality systems or ISO environment.At least two years of supervisory experience.Experience managing customer and employee relationships.Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop supervisors.Understanding of labor costs, staffing and their impact on project profitability.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Confidence working directly with customers and identifying opportunities to grow existing business.Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently from a home office while maintaining a regular presence at customer sites.Willingness to travel throughout Missouri and Kansas, with occasional travel to Oklahoma and Nebraska, including overnight stays as needed.Availability to support business needs outside regular working hours, including off-shifts, evenings and weekends.Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.Why Work for Stratosphere Quality?On-the-Job Training: Training and support provided.Paid Time Off: Start accruing PTO on Day One.Benefits: Medical benefits, life insurance and 401(k).Career Growth: Advancement opportunities after 90 days of employment.Referral Program: Earn $300 per referral.Recognition: SQ Rocs and President's Club.Shutdown Savings: Save wages for a rainy day.Equipment Reimbursement: Reimbursement for eligible work-related equipment.Technology: Work with our latest technology platforms.Travel Expenses: Approved expenses associated with overnight business trips are covered by SQ, in accordance with company policy.Apply TodayIf you have manufacturing leadership experience, enjoy working directly with customers and can manage teams, project costs and changing operational needs, we encourage you to apply.#ZR #J-18808-Ljbffr Stratosphere Quality
