Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with Mamani's recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to Mamani's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each service
• Execute menu items efficiently and accurately during high-volume service periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation throughout the shift
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory
• Participate in prep work, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Adapt to changing menu items and daily specials as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a line cook in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques, methods, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and composure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
