Job Description
- Lead day-to-day quality control activities, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations
- Manage and mentor a team of inspectors, providing technical support and direction
- Develop, implement, and refine quality processes and procedures
- Conduct internal audits to identify gaps and drive corrective actions
- Analyze quality metrics, non-conformance data, and feedback to prevent defects
- Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to resolve quality issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective solutions
- Oversee supplier quality performance, including audits and continuous improvement
- Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience in a Quality Supervisor or similar leadership role in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, ISO standards, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead and develop inspection or quality teams
- Skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience with SPC, root cause analysis, and quality tools/methodologies
- Solid understanding of workplace safety practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
