About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Sterile Processing Technician Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: N/A Certifications: Sterile Processing Certification, BLS Must-Have: Proficient in SPM and Davinci reprocessing Description: Responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly decontaminated, inspected, assembled, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in a quality and timely manner throughout the organization. Works independently with little or no supervision. Qualified to train others in Sterile Processing. Serves as a resource to Sterile Processing customers. Knowledge and compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines is essential. Call may be required depending on staffing levels.
