Member Experience Representative

Position Overview This position serves our members at the Airbus Branch in Mobile, Alabama. It is a frontline Member Experience Representative who engages members by onboarding them, opening new accounts, assisting with loan requests, and handling cash and negotiable instruments while promoting additional products and services. Key Responsibilities Open new accounts and perform opening procedures. Assist members with basic financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, credit card payments, balance transfers, debit card and check orders). Provide information about Alabama Credit Union products and services. Follow established procedures and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Occasionally travel to other branches in the area as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Customer service skills and cash handling experience. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and web‑based applications). Ability to follow procedures for account opening. Ability to describe and sell products and services to members. Ability to change focus efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Desire to help others in the community. Preferred Qualifications One to three years of similar or related experience. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Interpersonal Skills Work involves personal contact with others inside or outside the organization for first‑level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Physical Requirements Incumbents will sit, stand, walk, see, hear, reach, use gross and fine motor coordination for activities such as using standard office machines, sorting and filling paper items, counting cash, and occasionally lifting and carrying incidental items such as supplies. Additional Notes The branch is located within the Airbus plant, limiting the ability to leave the premises for lunch.
