Experienced Caregiver Needed – Challenging High-Acuity Home Care Case

Are you an experienced caregiver who thrives in challenging situations and takes pride in providing exceptional care? SYNERGY HomeCare of the West Valley is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver for a specialized in-home care assignment.

This position is best suited for someone who is confident, patient, professional, and experienced supporting individuals with complex cognitive or neurological conditions.

• Starting pay: $16–$18/hour (based on experience)

• Provide compassionate, person-centered in-home care

• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship

• Follow the client's care plan while maintaining professionalism and consistency

• Remain attentive, alert, and engaged throughout the entire shift

• Build trust with the client and communicate effectively with the care team

• Has experience caring for individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) or other complex neurological conditions

• Has a proven history of reliability and excellent attendance

• Can remain calm and professional in high-pressure or unpredictable situations

• Is patient, emotionally resilient, and confident setting appropriate boundaries

• Presents themselves professionally with good personal hygiene and a clean appearance

• Is committed to staying awake, alert, and fully engaged for the duration of every shift

• Understands the importance of consistency, punctuality, and following care plans

• Previous caregiving experience required

• Experience with TBI or high-acuity clients strongly preferred

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain—we can help)

• Ability to pass all required background screenings
