What You’ll Do: As a Stacy Milling Operator, you’ll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow, MA. You’ll get to: Perform a variety of duties to set up and operate a group of automatic and 4 axis CNC milling machines. To mill various types of teeth on several sizes of hand tool coil material. Duties: Exacting set ups to close tolerances Check coils to be milled and coil tag for record of previous operation Replace cutters after grind SAP transactions Assist in inventory cycle counts Record quality checks using production charts Cross train in the hot punch area Maintain equipment and work area in a clean orderly condition Report any material defects or discrepancies, equipment malfunctions to Supervisor Responsible for quality of work performed Who You Are: You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
