Staff Accountant | Political Consulting & Media Firm | Annapolis, MD | #3572772-3 We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to support a fast-growing political consulting and media firm operating across multiple entities and service lines. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands‑on experience in full-cycle accounting within a high‑growth environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain general ledger entries across multiple entities Assist with monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and efficiently Support budget tracking and expense analysis across business units Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Assist with audits, tax filings, and external reporting Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field 1–3 years experience in accounting or finance roles Familiarity with GAAP and basic financial reporting standards Experience with Excel and accounting software systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environment Compensation: Salary varies DOE, starting at $70k+ plus benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr Republican Jobs
