Job TitleThe Goals and Challenges of this Role:Ongoing customer contact to ensure that the correct information is received and then translated so that the fabrication team will be successful in the buildPreparing work instructions to build fabrications that include burning, forming, welding, and machiningExpediting jobs through the build processReviewing and understanding code and contract requirementsAnalyze inquiries to determine requirements for preparation of quoteCompute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirementsMaintain sales orders and jobs in ERP System (Epicor)What You Should Bring to this Role:Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred)Experienced in reading and analyzing drawings, technical documents and specificationsAnalytical skills – accurately evaluate detailed specificationsTime management skills – fixed deadlines on multiple projectsBackground in fabrication and welding required, preferably with medium to large weldments in a job shop type environmentExperience in machining preferredExperience with cutting process (Oxyfuel and plasma)Experience in the application and utilization of ERP systems or other computer systems used to manage projects
