P&C Senior Sales Agent, Commercial Line (Bilingual in Chinese)

The P&C Commercial Line Senior Sales Agent is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the commercial insurance sector. This role requires a proactive, goal-driven professional with strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of personal insurance products. The Sr Sales Agent will build and maintain client relationships, provide tailored risk management solutions, and contribute to revenue growth. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team to support business development for our Commercial Lines division.

Major duties and responsibilities include actively generating new sales leads, obtaining all necessary information to turn leads into prospects and clients; presenting proposals to prospects and clients, closing sales, and completing exposure analysis; providing proactive risk management advice to existing clients and resolving client issues; identifying carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines; identifying and pursuing cross-sell and cross-referral opportunities amongst existing clients proactively; staying informed about marketplace developments, competitive trends, and evolving consumer needs; maintaining proper documentation for existing and prospective clients; and attending training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge.

Basic qualifications include being bilingual in Chinese and English, having 6+ years of successful commercial insurance sales experience with an active P&C license, experience in placing commercial insurance policies for high-risk clients in the E&S market, a bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, excellent communication and presentation abilities, strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, self-motivation with the ability to work independently and drive results, and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite and Agency Management System.
