• Work location: Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132 - Sports Medicine department across from main hospital

• Work hours: Part-time: 24 hours/week, (3) 8-hour shifts, variable schedule, Monday-Friday

Here's What You Need

• Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program required.
• 2-years Physical Therapy experience required.
• 1+ year experience as a clinical instructor for Physical Therapy professional students preferred.
• ABPTS - American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists upon hire required Or CNT - Certified Neonatal Therapist And upon hire required
• PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.
• Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills.

What You Will Do

• Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
• Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home

programs/self-management and assistive equipment.

• Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel
• Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of Patients.
