Medical AssistantPosition HighlightsDepartment: Occupational MedicineHours: Full-Time 40 hours per weekPosition SummaryTo process ambulatory patients efficiently for initial injuries and illnesses, physical exams, testing, and follow-up visits. Will assist other members of the clinical team in providing care to the patients. Duties will include covering the front desk, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and processing patient visits. Is an effective team worker who demonstrates appropriate interaction with all staff members.Minimum Qualifications2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an Occupational Medicine or Primary Care office.Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.Effective communication skills, phlebotomy competency, and BLS required.
