An exciting contract opportunity awaits a skilled Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or LBS) ready to make a real impact in the Philadelphia area, including Lansdale and the surrounding communities. Step into a vital role, providing essential behavioral support across two welcoming elementary schools as you cover a BCBA’s medical leave from January through March 2027. Your expertise will help maintain continuity of care and empower both students and staff.
If you hold a BCBA credential, your strengths may be further utilized by offering supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in select additional schools—broadening your reach and fostering professional growth for others in the field.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA, LBS, or Behavior Specialist license required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based behavioral interventions with children and young learners
- Familiarity with positive behavior support strategies and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams
- Comfort adapting to new environments and supporting various school communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver thorough behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement evidence-based behavioral supports
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to educators on positive behavior practices
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to support student success
- If BCBA-certified, oversee and support RBTs in compliance with best practices and supervision requirements
