Position Overview Athletic Trainer – Banner Scottsdale Sports Medicine, Scottsdale, Arizona. Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities Administer athletic training services in a community or clinic setting under the supervision of a supervising physician. Evaluate injuries and develop treatment and exercise plans within scope of practice; re-evaluate plans as needed. Implement individualized therapeutic interventions and monitor responses to ensure client safety. Report progress and medical changes to referring physician or appropriate provider. Educate clients, families, and coaches regarding injuries, risk factor modification, and exercise programs. Conduct injury screening clinics, educational programs, and workshops to promote safety and injury prevention. Document patient treatment according to professional and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited university training program. Current Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer certification and a valid athletic trainer license issued in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other health‑care providers. Strong interpersonal communication and human‑relation skills.
