• Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries

• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian

• Perform catheterization and assist with laboratory diagnostic testing

• Monitor patient vital signs, behavior, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly

• Maintain a clean, decluttered, organized, and safe clinical environment by sanitizing equipment and work areas

• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals during exams and treatments

• Educate pet owners on proper care, medication administration, and our veterinarian’s recommendations

• Support clinic operations with additional administrative duties as needed

• Experience in a veterinary clinic or similar environment

• Familiarity with animal physiology and safe handling techniques (small animals and/or exotics)

• Compassion, empathy, attention to detail, and a love of cleaning and organization

• A desire to learn and a teachable, humble, team‑oriented spirit

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stay calm, focused, and effective during emergencies, emotional situations, and the unpredictable nature of animals
