The Director of Digital Marketing is an execution-focused mission-driven leader responsible for shaping and delivering Axiom Care's integrated marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to reach key audiences, deepen community engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and enhance marketing ROI. The Director will lead multi-channel, AI-forward programs for both B2B and B2C audiences, translate organizational growth priorities into scalable campaigns, and build the performance systems, team capabilities, and cross-functional partnerships needed to support access to life-changing behavioral health care across Axiom Care's locations.

•Lead a critical function that directly supports access to life-changing care.

•Work closely with the executive leadership team to translate organizational goals into scalable, multi-channel marketing strategies.

•Operate as a hands-on leader, owning and scaling marketing performance across all locations.

•Optimize paid and organic marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta, SEO/SEM, email, SMS, online directories, and social media.

•Drive growth in conversion rates, engagement, and marketing channel investment ROI through compelling storytelling.

•Partner with Executive Leadership, Outreach and Partnerships (Business Development), Admissions, and Finance to align marketing efforts with operational and organizational goals.

•Translate data and business insights into strategic, actionable campaigns that support admissions best-practices and growth.

•Manage reporting platforms, analyze marketing campaign performance, and communicate insights that inform strategic decision-making

•Guide content and brand strategy across web, social media, video, and email to strengthen positioning, ensure brand consistency, and support reputation management.

•Lead and develop internal team members while managing external agencies and partners as needed.

•Develop and evaluate email marketing programs that drive engagement, conversion, and client retention.

•Build and optimize prospect and patient communication journeys using segmentation and personalization

•Analyze email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, and conversions; report insights and recommendations for improvement.

•Maintain high email deliverability and consistent compliance with list-management, anti-spam, and email-marketing best practices.

•Develop emails, landing pages, and contact forms as needed.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

Founded in 2012, Axiom Care is a Phoenix-based behavioral health organization that aims to ensure every Arizonan has access to compassionate, effective substance use treatment. With facilities in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, we offer comprehensive services including 24/7 observation, inpatient detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and recovery housing with a focus on underserved populations.

•Demonstrated track record of owning marketing outcomes end-to-end, with direct responsibility for performance and results.

•Expertise in digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO/SEM, and marketing automation tools.

•Expertise in email-marketing best practices, list management, analytics platforms, A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, HTML, and CSS.

•Hands-on experience with KIPU CRM, Hootsuite, CTM, or comparable platforms.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong project-management skills and the ability to engage executive leadership and operational teams.

•Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and adjust priorities in a fast-paced growth environment.

•Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field required.

•Twelve or more years of integrated marketing experience preferred, including at least three years in a leadership role either in-house or leading national, enterprise-scale clients in a digital agency setting.

•At least two years of healthcare marketing or communications experience required; experience in substance use disorder and mental health treatment is strongly preferred.

•Integrated Marketing Expertise - Applies deep knowledge of digital and traditional channels to build cohesive B2B and B2C programs.

•Analytical Decision-Making - Translates performance data and business insights into clear priorities, actionable campaigns, and measurable improvements.

•Communications and Storytelling - Communicates clearly with executive and operational audiences and uses written, visual, and video storytelling to strengthen engagement and brand visibility.

•Collaboration - Builds constructive relationships across Executive Leadership, Outreach and Partnerships, Admissions, Finance, and external agencies to achieve shared goals.

•Project Management - Organizes work, manages multiple projects, meets deadlines, and recalibrates priorities as business needs evolve.

•Adaptability - Operates effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 system and responds positively to evolving priorities

•Team Leadership - Develops internal team members, manages agency and vendor partners, delegates effectively, and fosters collaboration.

•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

•Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
