We are seeking a *dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Optometrist* to join our team. We are a well-established private eye care practice committed to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a welcoming, professional, and collaborative environment for both our patients and staff.

About the Position

The ideal candidate is an optometrist who is confident providing comprehensive eye examinations, enjoys building relationships with patients, and works well as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is professional, personable, dependable, and committed to delivering a high level of patient care.

*Responsibilities include:*

* Performing comprehensive eye examinations
* Diagnosing and managing ocular conditions
* Providing appropriate treatment and referrals when necessary
* Prescribing glasses and contact lenses
* Educating patients regarding their eye health and treatment options
* Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records
* Working collaboratively with our doctors, opticians, technicians, and administrative staff
* Providing an exceptional patient experience from examination through optical

What We’re Looking For

* Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
* Current New York State optometry license in good standing
* Strong clinical and communication skills
* Excellent patient-service skills
* Professional, positive, and approachable demeanor
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
* Strong attention to detail and organization
