Round Lake Senior Living recently opened in January 2023 and is a beautiful community located in Arden Hills. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 120-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. Position: Culinary Assistant/Server

Hourly Wage: $15.50 - $20.50/hourly, depending on experience

Service Area: 1740 Parkshore Drive, Arden Hills, MN 55112

Schedule: Shift options below.

Option 1, 0.4 FTE, part-time AM, 6am-230pm - Week 1: Sunday and Monday / Week 2: Friday and Saturday

Option 2, 0.4 FTE, part-time PM, 4pm-730pm - Week 1: Sunday and Saturday / Week 2: Sunday and Saturday (every weekend)

Option 3, 0.3 FTE, part-time PM, 4pm-730pm - Week 1: Sunday / Week 2: Friday and Saturday

Position Duties & Responsibilities: In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being. Duties include:

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.
