Chambers Counsel: Appellate Judge Support
Maryland Judiciary
The Chambers Counsel at the Maryland Judiciary conducts extensive research and analysis of state and federal law to resolve complex issues and draft written opinions for the Judge. It also handles administrative duties in chambers, including supervising term Law Clerks. The role requires a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and at least two years of legal experience, with a preference for prior appellate court exposure.
