Along with buying and selling energy commodities at the wholesale level, UGIES owns and operates key midstream natural gas assets.We offer comprehensive benefits, some of which are:Paid Vacation time starts with 3 weeks off9 Paid HolidaysMedical plan, prescription, dental, vision, life insurancePaid parental and volunteer time401(k) matched savings planTuition Reimbursement Position SummarySets the direction for the newly created Choice Program Operations team, identifying opportunities and risks and developing processes that support superior execution.Builds and trains a team of experts who own the company's retail choice programs, from LDC program and tariff requirements through flow order execution, asset assignments, forecasting, and pricing support.Essential FunctionsMaintain current knowledge of each LDC's retail choice program rules and requirements, tracking changes that affect execution or customer eligibility.Own and build relationships across the team's full book of LDCs, including regular touchpoints with LDC representatives and attending collaboratives.Serve as the escalation point for complex LDC issues, imbalance disputes, invoicing irregularities, and regulatory or tariff changes that affect the team's execution.Own the retail pricing products and curves maintained by the team, keeping them aligned with current LDC delivery rules.Oversee forecasting of customer usage factors and capacity assignments/releases, ensuring pipeline schedulers receive accurate, well-communicated volumes and rates.Set direction for the team's flow order estimation methodology, identifying areas of opportunity or risk and communicating regularly with peer groups.Oversee forecasting of costs associated with asset assignments.Oversee the team responsible for accurate and timely management of flow orders between LDCs and the business.Partner with the Trading manager to drive strategy around managing virtual assets.Help the team develop tools and metrics that give a comprehensive snapshot of this part of the retail business.Independently identify and drive process and technology improvements that reduce manual effort and risk across flow order execution, reconciliation, and reporting.Coach, develop, and hold Analysts accountable to high standards of accuracy, independence, and ownership across their assigned LDCs, with regular performance feedback and career development support.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesUnderstands how flow order execution and pricing accuracy affect Trading, pipeline scheduling, and Sales, and manages with that downstream impact in mind.Builds real working relationships with other groups' leaders and works cooperatively rather than in a silo.Holds the team to a high, consistent standard and addresses performance gaps directly.Finds innovative ways to get the work done with the available people and resources.Brings ideas and solutions rather than just surfacing problems, and actively drives strategy and new ways of working.Takes full accountability for the team's output and outcomes, including when things go wrong.Treats deadlines, exceptions, and escalations seriously and doesn't let issues sit.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: 5 years.Organizational ContextDirect reports: 3–5 (TBD).UGI Energy Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
