MANUFACTURING OPERATOR

This is a weekend opportunity, working Friday through Monday, with both day and night shift options available.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet or exceed all product quality standards.
• Complete operation and mixing reports accurately and on time.
• Clean equipment and work areas as assigned to maintain sanitation.
• Prevent contamination by properly setting turnheads and ensuring bins are

• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with dumping birdseed as needed.
• Adjust operations as needed to maintain product integrity.
• Follow production schedules and sequencing procedures, including flushing and

• Maintain clean, organized ingredient storage areas and follow FIFO practices.
• Perform scheduled cleaning, servicing, and quality assurance tests.
• Keep production running efficiently to support downstream operations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of mixing activities and samples.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Understanding of feed mill equipment and layout.
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. from floor to working height as job
