Senior Procurement Specialist

The Sr Procurement Specialist does the analysis and drives cost saving initiatives for CCSWB, as well as looking at financial impacts, pricing, contracts and spend. They are heavily engaged with supplier management and improve flow of materials through the system. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships and supporting commercial negotiations across assigned categories. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply, operational excellence and achievement of business objectives through strategic procurement practices. Lead analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives Implement and continuously improve core processes Conduct timely financial and pricing updates Manage contract life-cycle and spend compliance Stakeholder and supplier management including potential relevant metrics Implement and continuously improve the flow and consumption of materials and service Lead sourcing events and development of category strategy for small categories of spend Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and competitive processes across assigned categories Negotiate pricing and supplier agreements to maximize total value and mitigate risk Develop category strategies and identify long-term cost optimization opportunities Analyze market trends and supplier risks to support sourcing decisions Drive supplier performance and continues improvement initiatives Lead suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and minimize operational disruptions Identify process improvement opportunities and implement procurement best practices Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent procurement or supply chain work experience required 2-5 years of analytic, procurement or supply chain experience Analytical Tools experience Analytic skills and learning agility Change Management and influencing skills SAP functional skills Strong Microsoft Office Attention to details and 99.9% accuracy in pricing updates Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer services focus with great follow-up skills Knowledge of data analysis methodologies Collaborative and a team player Ability to work independently with solid organizational skills Ability to efficiently multi-task Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Experience leading sourcing events and supplier negotiations #J-18808-Ljbffr Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages
