Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active NM or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Works in the Labor and Delivery unit of a 199-bed hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Required to work every other weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
• Must complete fingerprinting and background check per New Mexico state requirements prior to hire, or may start under a supervised 14-day waiver while results are pending

Additional Information

• Hospital is Joint Commission Accredited with a Chest Pain Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Provide labor and delivery nursing care within a Women's Services department
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the assignment
