Position Summary:
Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer in the Centerville, IN area who is looking to add a Quality Engineer to their team who will provide technical expertise and support for quality assurance, control, and laboratory functions across operations. As well as ensure products, processes, and quality documentation meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in engineering OR 2-3 years of relevant quality experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
CMM experience
GD&T, APQP experience
Job Responsibilities:
Support APQP deliverables, including Control Plans, PFMEA, and process capability studies
Ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality management system requirements
Lead root-cause investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Support internal and external audits, employee training, and cross-functional problem-solving
Operate and oversee CMM, X-ray, spectrometer, and other advanced inspection equipment
Analyze inspection data, communicate quality issues, and drive effective corrective actions
