We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team in Miamisburg, Ohio in a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This role focuses on helping customers by phone with product inquiries, order-related questions, and basic troubleshooting while delivering clear, attentive support. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a high volume of interactions, resolving concerns efficiently, and working collaboratively with internal teams to provide accurate information and a strong customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound customer calls and messages regarding product selection, replacement parts, and general service needs.

• Provide straightforward technical guidance for routine product questions and direct more complex issues to the appropriate support resources when needed.

• Share timely updates on open orders, including estimated availability, shipping progress, and expected lead times.

• Explain company procedures and service steps in a clear and helpful manner so customers know what to expect.

• Work to resolve customer concerns during the initial interaction whenever possible, using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

• Enter and maintain accurate order and customer information in internal systems to support efficient service.

• Coordinate with accounting and other departments to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure smooth follow-up.

• Use available training materials and product resources to build knowledge and improve support quality over time.

• Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or another phone-based service environment.
• Ability to manage inbound calls professionally while maintaining accuracy and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience with order entry, order status communication, or similar transactional support activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Proven problem-solving ability and a commitment to resolving customer issues efficiently.
• Mechanical aptitude is helpful for understanding product-related questions, though it is not required.
