Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client. Design and implement individualized therapy strategies, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based and culturally sensitive. Deliver a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, depending on client requirements. Engage in collaborative treatment planning by working alongside other health practitioners, ensuring a holistic approach to client care. Document client progress and treatment interventions accurately and maintain adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards. Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and share best practices. Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, fostering insight and encouraging engagement in the therapeutic process. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources, particularly those from underserved communities in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will address various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your work will play a critical role in breaking down barriers to mental health care and promoting overall community well-being. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Arizona. A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client engagement. Preferred Experience Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desired. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is a plus, aiding in seamless client documentation and communication. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
