Sales Operations Specialist - Los Angeles

About the Role

Maleda Tech is hiring a driven Sales Operations Specialist to serve as the frontline representative for a premium in-home services marketplace expanding across Los Angeles. The platform connects guests with vetted local professionals across a range of service categories — from private chefs and photographers to personal trainers and wellness providers — in hundreds of cities, with new offerings launching regularly.

In this field-based role, you'll be the local face of the brand in key LA neighborhoods, including Central LA and the Westside/Silicon Beach corridor (Santa Monica to Playa Vista). Your focus: generating leads, delivering in-person sales pitches, and guiding new service providers through their first steps onto the platform. It's a great fit for someone who's energized by face-to-face conversations, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and knows the LA market well.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation — Identify and connect with prospective service providers in person, sourcing through online research, cold outreach, community engagement, and local networking.
• Sales Pitches — Deliver persuasive, in-person pitches that showcase the platform and its offerings, converting interest into signed submissions.
• Onboarding — Partner with cross-functional teams to guide new providers through initial onboarding, ensuring they're informed and set up for success.
• Market Insights — Gather insights from prospects and the local community to sharpen sales strategies and improve service offerings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or community engagement.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with comfort cold calling and starting conversations in a variety of settings.
• A curious, resourceful mindset and eagerness to test new tactics to source and close leads.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple conversations and leads across platforms.
• A clear, positive, authentic communicator — both verbally and in writing.
• Motivated by helping local providers grow their businesses and reach new customers.
• Familiarity with community platforms (Facebook Groups, Reddit, Nextdoor) for engagement and lead generation.
• Experience working with small business owners, independent providers, or side-hustlers is a plus.
• Based in Los Angeles, with strong local market knowledge.

Key Details

• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• Duration: Contract through December 31, 2026 (approx. 4 months)
• Location: Field-based in Los Angeles, CA (Central LA and the Westside/Silicon Beach area, Santa Monica to Playa Vista)
• Schedule: Full-time — 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
• Pay Rate: Up to $37/hour, commensurate with experience
• Engagement: Contract role through Maleda Tech
