Effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other health team members. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.EducationGraduate of state approved RN School of Nursing.Training/ExperiencePrevious experience preferred, but not required.Job KnowledgeBasic knowledge of nursing process and principlesBasic knowledge of biology and chemistry.Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.Thorough knowledge of nursing procedures.Ability to communicate effectively with other team members.ResponsibilitiesAssesses, collaborates and coordinates in planning of patient discharge needs and readiness for discharge.Participates in departmental and hospital improvement plan.Functions as a positive role model for peers and promotes a professional image of Iberia Medical Center.Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient and organizational dataConsistently lives by Iberia Medical Center Standards of PerformanceSchedulePRN
